Being a mother myself, I know what it feels like to be protective of your child and want the best.  If your child is sick and need medical attention you want your child to go to the best doctor. I understand the stigmas, labeling and misdiagnosis associated with childhood mental illness and I will work injunction with the medical doctor and the psychiatrist to ensure your child receives accurate diagnosis and treatment. My work experience in inpatient psychiatric hospital collaborating with doctors on symptomatology and diagnosis using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual ( DMS-5) of mental health. If your child is experiencing issues at home, school, and/or in the community, such as

Does My 
              Child need Help?
  •  I will assist you with learning how to change the thinking that contribute to your life stressors, mental health issues, and negative self-image, by working towards a solutions.

  • Your personalized recovery plan will include your goals, objectives, interventions and steps to achievement.

  • You may be tasked to complete homework assignments, such as tracking your moods, writing about your thoughts, participating in social activities to name a few assignments. 

  • I will encourage you to look at things in a different way and/or learn new ways to react to negative events or people.

I will help you open the door to your success and recovery  by assisting you with:

  • ​Understand depression, anxiety, mood disorder and other diagnosis.

  • Define and reach your wellness goals.

  • Overcome fears or insecurities.

  • ope with life challenges, transitions, roles, and traumatic moments.

  •  Make sense of past traumatic experiences and how it influences your current thinking/actions.

  • Separate your true personality from the moods caused by your condition.

  •  Identify triggers that may worsen your symptoms

  •  Improve relationships with family and friends.

  • Develop a plan for coping with crises.

  •  Understand why things bother you and what you can do about them. 

  • End destructive habits such as drinking, using drugs, overspending or unhealthy sex.
